DRAP is a replay-free continual learning method for physical AI that estimates the historical importance of adaptable model tensors using action gradients weighted by local trajectory-amplification risk. A ridge-regularized local linear model fitted to expert transitions yields a Lyapunov-inspired estimate of one-step perturbation amplification. Risk-weighted squared gradients are accumulated into a tensor-level importance memory, which scales each tensor's effective AdamW learning rate in later tasks. It is instantiated on a KappaTune-selected subnetwork of OpenVLA and evaluated on LIBERO Spatial, Object, and Goal suites against AdamW fine-tuning and EWC.

- Signal dated by source or discovery feed
This timestamp places the signal in the radar. It may be the discovery post date rather than the primary page's first publication date.
- Shared brief stored
AINewsIQ prepared one abstract from fetched source page.
Brief history · 1 retained version
These are changes to AINewsIQ’s own publication. Earlier history is unavailable unless recorded here. Complete retained versions are available to the editor.
- Version 1 · published
Source-based brief stored or updated. This does not establish that the publisher changed its page.
Automated record
Source observations · 1 recent captures
A changed capture means the extracted text differed. It can reflect page furniture or extraction changes; it does not establish a substantive correction. Source captures remain private.
Retained capture; no earlier comparison available.
New engagement snapshots do not mean the source itself changed. Source observations and AINewsIQ brief revisions are separate records.
Why this may matter
Sequential adaptation of robot policies often causes forgetting of earlier behaviors, and storing old data is costly. A replay-free method that protects components critical to past behavior at sensitive trajectory points could make continual adaptation of large VLA policies more practical.
Limits and open questions
Source claims not independently checked; results are reported only in the abstract, with no quantitative figures supplied in the text.
Organization-specific financial, security, and operational effects require the organization's own context and review.
